Assigning ICD-9 diagnosis/procedure codes and CPT codes for physician surgical procedures, Handling insurance inquiries/ account receivable, Entering data for medical charges from Encounter Forms, Posting payment on insurance payments and patient payments, Performing corrections for patient registration information and/or eligibility, Reviewing claims that have been denied for incorrect coding and assigns correct coding if applicable.
